We believe a great team is the foundation of every great project.
At the heart of what we do is vision building. As general contractors we will be there every step of the way. We feel strongly that as you are assembling your team at the beginning of your vision, your contractor should be hired too. It is at this time, our experience can be critical in helping control costs, critical path construction based on material selection and ultimately determining your final budget. We prefer to work hand in hand with architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure your dreams will come true.
We believe sustainability is our corporate responsibility. We keep this in mind in everything we do, from the materials that are selected to the tools and companies we support.
We are proud to carry our National Standard Building Contractor B License and are fully licensed and insured in multiple jurisdictions across Colorado. We are proud to be associated with the ICC International Code Council as Building and Safety Professionals.
Our General Contractor Mark Davis, trained by the Walt Disney Studios, Mountainsmith and REI in business and communication skills, approaches construction with a unique touch. With over 20 years of building and development experience, Mark manages projects with a focus on quality. It is his energized creativity, and a superior eye for detail that brings these projects to life. His degree, from CU Boulder in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance, support his strength in controlling costs and maximizing resources. Mark grew up in Denver and has witnessed first hand the changing landscape. With the industry growing rapidly and customers needing accurate information to make educated decisions in a timely manner, Mark has created a vision with Mercurial LLC to change with it. Come join us on a project and see first hand how team work should work!
Nate Boyer began his love for construction as a child when he worked as a laborer for his father’s successful construction company in the mountains of Northern California. Through his hard work and effort, he gained an appreciation for what it takes to produce an aesthetic, quality and cost controlled product for their customers that would forever remain beneficial in his career.
Nate obtained his BS degree in Construction Management and Business Administration while also playing NCAA football for California State University Sacramento.
In 2013, Nate and his wife decided to pack up, moved to Colorado without hesitation, and have never looked back! Once settled, Nate joined one of the largest construction firms in the United States, (Turner). This opportunity provided new and valuable experience working on large ground up commercial and tenant improvement projects. Nate was able to thrive in this fast paced environment both in the office and the field, while his unique talent for managing all aspects of construction on these beautiful projects was achieved multiple times. With this level of construction understanding and his own personal drive it was only a matter of time until he found himself an Owner of an established and growing specialized construction company, Mercurial LLC.
Each and every day Nate wakes up he considers himself fortunate to be able to do what he loves, adding beautiful quintessential buildings to the ever-changing skyline of Colorado!
Ryan Will is an absolute necessity to our team. With an engineering background from The University of Vermont, a B.S. Degree in E-Commerce, Business, and Marketing from Champlain College in Burlington Vermont, and a vast experience in all aspects of both commercial and residential construction, Ryan is constantly impressing us and his clients. His projects mainly consist of ground up construction, outstanding tenant finish, and magnificent home remodeling. Ryan has always had a specialized interest and knack for finding solutions, having the right tool, and being passionate for all projects ever since he was a child, such as working on changing light switches with his father when he was 8. Ryan continued working with and for his father, and with some professional management training, together they developed a new business enterprise. Ryan’s talent spreads from Upstate New York, where he grew up, all the way to Colorado, his forever home. His love for his sons, coaching their soccer team, and the fun of skiing helps to fuel his optimistic, inspirational, and brilliant energy.
Peter Friesen, a Denver native, has deep roots in construction and home building. Growing up with an architect for a father, he was exposed to construction and blueprints at an early age. Helping with projects around the house as a child led him down the path to a career in building. Peter got his start in the industry as a volunteer construction intern with Habitat for Humanity in Anchorage, Alaska. After a year in Alaska, Peter moved back to Denver where he has worked in the industry since. Peter's construction experience includes working as an electrician, framer, and home remodeler. During his time in all of these areas of construction Peter has gained an eye for the details. This attention to detail, along with many years of different experiences in the field, has helped him develop into a valuable asset to our team.
Peter has a passion for building fine homes and commercial projects. Being able to bring clients dreams to reality is what drives him on a daily basis.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys sports, camping, family, and spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
Complete Project Evaluation (CPE): • For years Mercurial LLC prepared the standard free estimate for all of our potential clients. We are happy to do this but is there not a better way? Yes there is. The problem is that the traditional bidding process, where the contractor comes in at some point in the design phase and tries to piece together a reasonable estimate, is inherently flawed in two critical areas:
1. Not all contractors are devoting the same amount of time and energy to their bids. Therefore, the owner rarely knows if they are comparing “apples-to-apples” and a lower price may just be due to lack of attention or “guesstimating”.
2. Contractors producing free bids do not have much of an incentive to dedicate the time and thoughtfulness required to develop a full scope of work and realistic budget. Really understanding the complexity and detail of a project requires much more time than any contractor is willing to spend on a free estimate.
Our Complete Project Evaluation (CPE) works like this: Because you are paying us a fee, we are able to dedicate the resources to determine your design details, scope of work, and rock solid budget.
What you get with our CPE includes a full project scope of work developed with you, the Architect, any applicable governmental agencies, our subcontractors, and our suppliers; a detailed project schedule; and a reliable cost estimate that you can literally take to the bank if necessary.
Throughout the CPE process something else happens that becomes invaluable during construction, and that is the development of a trusting relationship. By the time we are finished with your CPE, you should have no lingering questions about how your project is going to be managed and built. We are taking the guesswork out of your project and making sure everyone knows what is included, what is not, how it will get done, how long it will take, and how much it will cost.
Come join us on a project and see how collaborative passion, creativity and craftsmanship can change the way you live and work.
